“I attended an I.F.O.C. training. I came back and thought, ‘We really need to do this in our church.’ And it wasn’t until I.F.O.C. launched the Chaplains in the Church program and thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is exactly what I was trying to think of!’”
Robin B., Chaplain
“I had the desire to learn more about chaplaincy and prepare and educate myself more. And I was pointed in the direction of I.F.O.C. I took the online class, and the training was wonderful. I felt that it answered something I was called to– to be the hands and feet of Jesus.”

1. Which course is right for me?
Individuals who desire to be a workplace chaplain who are not I.F.O.C. Chaplains, and are not pursuing a Chaplain license with I.F.O.C. will take both the Fundamentals and Advanced courses to prepare them for serving as a chaplain in the workplace.
Current I.F.O.C. Chaplains will take the Advanced course, which is one requirement to become licensed as a I.F.O.C. Workplace Chaplain in the advanced chaplain program.
2. Do I become a licensed corporate chaplain when I complete the course?
This course is an excellent addition to your credentials, but does not provide licensure by itself. If you want to become a licensed chaplain, complete the I.F.O.C. Chaplain Training and licensing process.
3. If I’m already a licensed/ordained I.F.O.C. chaplain, does this course make me a Licensed Workplace Chaplain?
No. Chaplains must complete the Advanced Chaplain Credential and the Advanced Workplace Chaplaincy Training.
4. Does completing this course guarantee me a job?
No. I.F.O.C. does not provide job placement. However, this course prepares you with the necessary skills to be a workplace chaplain in a corporate or agency environment.
5. What is a workplace chaplain’s salary?
Salaries vary depending on whether you work part-time, full-time, or volunteer. Many corporate chaplains work under contract with chaplaincy agencies, while others are employed directly by companies.
If you feel called to serve employees in the workplace, start with the right foundation. Take the Workplace Chaplaincy Training and equip yourself to bring hope, stability, and spiritual care into the workplace.
