Chaplains making an impact
Our donors enable I.F.O.C. Chaplains to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
How has I.F.O.C. impacted the world for good?
Because of our generous donors’ contributions, we have continued to support our community in the areas of Chaplaincy and Crisis Response.
A key initiative of I.F.O.C. is to take chaplaincy training to the nations. We believe that Chaplaincy and crisis response are some of the best ways for the body of Christ to show the love of Jesus to a hurting world. Because of our donors, we expanded our efforts to take Chaplaincy to the nations. In 2022, Frontline Chaplains International instructors traveled to the Dominican Republic, 3 regions of Vietnam, Barbados, and Jamaica.
Two hundred and eighty-seven international students learned how to impact their nation through Chaplaincy. 54 of these became credentialed Commissioned FCI Chaplains! (Not all students have the opportunity to become commissioned due to persecution or other factors in their home nations)
Working with experienced ministry leaders and Christians on this trip was an honor! A Barbados Chaplain Corps also was also established on that trip.
In 2023, we plan to take chaplaincy training to South Africa and Turks and Caicos with return trips to Vietnam and Barbados. Our FCI instructors donate their time, and our ability to reach the nations is only possible because of our generous donors.
Our faithful donors who provided gifts to Cover the Cost of a Current Chaplain’s Renewal throughout 2021 and 2022 are gratefully acknowledged.
Because of their contributions, we were able to give 33 Chaplains scholarships!
The awardees were Chaplains who experienced various hardships. The scholarships were a great help in their time of need.
2023 Advancement
2022 was a year to recover and realign after COVID and other factors interrupted our world. In 2022, I.F.O.C. extended its ministry impact to 2 new nations, engaged with our Chaplains through initiatives in our Corps and our bi-annual Connections Conference, and realigned & restructured our ministry to prepare for coming growth and opportunity. 2022 set the stage for expansive impact.
2023 is a year of advancement. I.F.O.C. will initiate a strategic plan to ignite the potential built in 2022. From our new international missions training trips to expanding the reach of our local Corps and funding new initiatives to engage and support our Chaplains, 2023 will be a year of great advancement for our ministry. With your partnership, I am so excited to see where God will take us in 2023!
