Description
This online Chaplaincy Bridge Course, offered by the International Fellowship of Chaplains, is designed for students who have already completed the I.F.O.C. Workplace Fundamentals Chaplaincy Training Course. The Bridge course includes the remaining content from the full Chaplain Training Course that was not in the Workplace Fundamental Course. Completing both the I.F.O.C. Bridge course AND the I.F.O.C. Workplace Fundamentals Course qualifies the student to apply for Licensing and optional Ordination with I.F.O.C.
To successfully complete this course, students must complete all the training modules assigned in the course and attend a live 4-hour webinar after concluding all of the training modules. The last quiz in the training class acknowledges that you have attended this webinar. Your certificate will be available once all modules are completed and the instructor has confirmed (graded that quiz) your attendance in that session.
This course must be completed within 31 days of registration, including all modules and the 4-hour webinar, offered once a week on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. Failure to complete it within this time will result in the student not receiving a course completion certificate. I.F.O.C. will not refund the registration fee if students do not complete the program on time.
If the student has extenuating circumstances during the course that prevent them from finishing within this timeframe, they can contact I.F.O.C. Headquarters at (254) 314-2159. At its discretion, I.F.O.C. may allow the student to continue the class beyond the 31-day deadline, with a $25 extension fee for an additional 14 days of access.
There is an application process for students who wish to become credentialed I.F.O.C. Chaplains. Completing this training does not make one a licensed I.F.O.C. Chaplain nor guarantee that one will be granted a license. The application process includes a background check, agreement to I.F.O.C.’s non-denominational, conservative Christian statement of faith and ethics, an interview, and other items. When students register, they only purchase access to the training material.
Litmos, the learning management system, has a mobile app. While students have successfully used that app, I.F.O.C. does not provide technical support for students using it. Technical support is available only when the course is taken on a computer.
Note: Purchasing this class on our website will give you access to I.F.O.C.’s online learning platform, Litmos. Once you purchase the class, you will receive an email from [email protected]. Please check your spam if you do not get the email after purchasing. ***Students who have previously enrolled in an online course from I.F.O.C. will not receive a new welcome email, but can log into their dashboard to access this new class at ifoc.litmos.com.
This training is licensed to the individual purchasing the course. The course is not licensed to be shared with others or to play in a group setting.
Please contact I.F.O.C. with any questions.
