The Corps Leadership Class is a required class to be eligible to serve on the Command Staff of a Corps. It is also recommended for every Chaplain who is in a Corps. The in-person Corps Leadership class is a one day in-person class. This online class is an adaptation from that original format.
When a Corps is started in a new location, an in-person Corps Leadership Class is scheduled. Chaplains who are forming a Corps should attend the in-person class. This on-line class is designed for Chaplains who are in a Corps that was previously established. Therefore, admittance into this course is only open to current I.F.O.C. Chaplains who are in an established Corps. Virtual Leaders, or others in the Corps Leadership structure, are welcome to attend as well. Eligibility to be enrolled in this class will be checked prior to the Chaplain receiving login credentials for the course.
This course is hosted on I.F.O.C.’s educational platform, Litmus. Chaplains registering for this class will be manually enrolled in the course and will receive a welcome email with login credentials as soon as I.F.O.C. staff are able to verify eligibility and enroll the student in the course.
Students will need to complete the course with in 2 weeks of registration in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and be eligible for promotion.
