The conference will include a ceremony on Saturday to pray over, for impartation, and to formally commission Chaplains who have been licensed and ordained since the 2024 conference or have not had the opportunity to have this experience in person.
Meals are not provided this year due to changes with the venue. Lunch and Dinner breaks are included in the schedule.
We’re excited to provide optional pre-conference ICISF classes this year! You won’t find these classes at these prices anywhere else. If you can, come early and join us for amazing advanced crisis intervention classes. If you want to attend one or both pre-conference classes, be sure to select those options when registering for the conference.

The local Hampton Inn Hotel in Temple, TX, has offered our Chaplains a discounted rate of $99 per night. Use the link below to register. This special rate is available from September 7th through September 13th. Book yours while they are still available at these prices!
The convention center has 12 RV spaces that are available to rent. These include electric hook-up only (both 30 and 50 amp). **No water or sewer hookup **
The cost is $25 per night, and spots are available Monday night through Sunday morning. Contact the office at (254-314-2159) to reserve your RV spot.
Two airports are close to the conference:
The Killeen – Fort Hood (GRK) airport is the closest. It is approximately a 25-minute drive from the venue. It offers AA flights from DFW several times a day.
The Austin Bergstrom (AUS) airport is also close. It is approximately an hour’s drive from the venue but offers many direct flights from around the country and internationally.
Steve has 30+ years of leadership, counseling/coaching, and teaching experience in churches, community development, chaplaincy, bereavement, and as a business owner. Steve travels nationally as a conference speaker, seminar leader, team facilitator, and chaplain endorser.
Steve will present I.F.O.C.’s keynote session on The Hallmark of a Chaplain is Faithful Presence Connected in Calling, Practice, and Trust.
Nick Braschler serves as the Director of Chaplain Services & Community Giving at Simmons Foods, where he leads the company’s efforts to provide care, support, and encouragement to employees and oversees community engagement and giving. Nick recently collaborated on I.F.O.C.’s Workplace Chaplain Training Course, where he taught multiple subjects.
